Lallybroch Tour

Once our driver has collected you from your accommodation..

Let us take you to Lallybroch, the ancestral home of the fictional character Jamie Fraser and onwards to Blackness Castle which doubled as Fort William. From there we travel to Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison) moving on to Colum Mackenzie and his clan.
We then visit Culross (Cranesmuir) which is instantly recognisable from The Outlander Series that is also home to Gellis Duncans house, which over-looks the Mercat Cross, then returning towards Edinburgh our last filming location of this tour, Hopetown House which was the home of the Duke of Sandringham.

Castle Leoch Tour

Once our driver has collected you from your accommodation..

We travel to the ancestral home of Jamie Fraser  from Outlander.  Lallybroch, which is actually Midhope Castle, you will recognise the courtyard where Black Jack Randall whips Jamie.
We then move on to Blackness Castle which doubled as Fort William, again where Jamie was flogged.
After a short journey, we arrive an Linlithgow Palace which doubled as Wentworth Prison, where Jamie received some gruelling abuse at the hands of Jack Randall.
Castle Leoch is our next 18th century stop (Doune Castle), this was the home of the Clan Mackenzie.
Afterwards we drive to the pretty little town of Culross, the palace featured in many Outlander scenes, also Claire’s secret garden scenes were filmed here.
Next is Falkland, which doubled as Inverness. This is where Claire and Frank visit before Claire disappears into the past. You can also pop into Mrs Baird’s B&B which is the Covenanter Hotel.
Our last stop on this tour is Dysart Harbour, Dysart doubles as Le Harvre where Claire & Jamie arrive in France in season two of the hit US series of Outlander.

Jamie's Printshop Tour

Once our driver has collected you from your accommodation..

We start this tour at Bakehouse Close just off the Royal Mile in Edinburgh In series three of Outlander. This is where the filming of the external scenes of Jamie’s Printshop took place.
Next is Tweeddale Court, this Outlander location was used as an 18th century Edinburgh street.  We then travel up the Royal Mile to the Signet Library. This location was used for the governers’ mansion in Jamaica.
We then head out of the City to Craigmillar Castle which dates back to the 14th century and doubled as Ardsmuir Prison where Jamie was imprisoned in season three.
Our next destination is Hopetoun House set in the beautiful setting of South Queensferry. Hopetoun House was used as The Duke of Sandringhams’ home and for other various scenes throughout the show.
Next but not means least is Jamies’ ancestral home of Lallybroch which is actually Midhope House.  This is where his sister Jenny and her family Live.

Duke of Sandringham Tour

Once our driver has collected you from your accommodation..

We visit Lallybroch (Midhope Castle), Jamie Frasers’ home and then on to Blackness Castle which doubled as Fort William. This is where Jamie received lashes from Captian Jack Randell. From there we travel to Linlithgo Palace (Wentworth Prison) and this is where, in season one of Outlander, Jamie suffered terrible abuse at the hands of Jack Randell.
We finish this tour at Hopetown House in South Queensferry. This was the setting for the Duke of Sandringhams’ Home.

Wentworth Prison Tour

Once our driver has collected you from your accommodation..

We take you back to the 18th century and at the home of Jamie Fraser, Lallybroch (Midhope Castle) where you can take some time out for some photo’s.

We then move on to Blackness Castle which stood in for Fort William, where Jamie was flogged in the courtyard. From here it is over to Wentworth Prison itself which is actually Linlithgow Palace.   This is where poor Jamie was abused. The location is also happens to be the birthplace of Mary Quenn of Scots!
We then drive over to Castle Leoch which is our 18th century stop (Doune Castle).  This is the home of the Clan MacKenzie and the location of quite a few scenes for the Outlander series.

Cranesmuir Tour

Once our driver has collected you from your accommodation..

We travel to Midhope Castle which doubled as Lallybroch, which is Jamie Fraser’s ancestral home. You will most likely recognise the steps where Claire and Jamie’s sister, Jenny sat back in the 18th century.
Onward toward Culross and the palace, where scenes for Claire’s secret garden was filmed.  We then take a trip to Falklandwhich doubled as Inverness where you see the Mercat Cross where Frank see’s a strange figure (Jamie’s ghost), staring up at Claire’s room at Mrs Baird’s B & B.
We then make a trip up to 18th century Le Havre which is actually Dysart Harbour, where Claire and Jamie arrive in France.
Our last stop on this tour is Aberdour Castle which doubled as Sainte Anne de Beaupre, where Murtagh and Claire treat the wounded Jamie after his ordeal at Wentworth.
